On this Memorial Day I’d like to remember not just our fallen military, but the safer, kinder, better America they were fighting for.
Mistakes make us better people, if we recognize them for the learning tools they are.
The real issue is one that we all encounter whenever we complain about any ongoing problem: we aren’t looking deep enough.
It is we who have to step up to the plate, we who need to support and care for one another, we who must answer the hard call to practice compassion when so many are turning inward toward selfishness.
Learning to listen to the messages of your emotions will bring you far more happiness than trying to control everyone and everything around you.
I wish to have the kind of life that will make an inspiring eulogy.
Being kind is one of those things in life that seems simple, but it really isn’t.
